23rd May 2022 – Appeal Success

Planning permission has been granted on appeal for the conversion of an existing stables building to a 4-bed house on a site at Weedon, near Aylesbury.

Buckinghamshire Council had refused planning permission in June 2021 on the basis that the proposal would conflict with national guidance and Local Plan policies relating to development in the countryside. In allowing the appeal, the Inspector agreed with JPPC that the proposed works would enhance the rural character and appearance of the site and surrounding area and would comprise a sustainable form of development.
