Appeal Success – Padel Tennis Court near Thame

After something of a long wait, one of JPPC’s clients who lives near Thame is delighted to have had success on appeal in relation to a padel tennis court.  This is a fast growing sport and Bucks Council had refused planning permission for the retention of the court- which about a third the size of a traditional tennis court- and had been erected just outside our client’s garden.  The Inspector agreed with JPPC that the impact of the court despite its location outside the garden would not cause harm to the character or appearance of the Brill-Winchendon Hills Area of Attractive Landscape.  Our client’s neighbours will also be pleased as they also like to play on the court and are keen to help to grow the sport.  More details on padel tennis can be found here:
