Five New Dwellings Approved at Former Kennels

Clients at Lockinge in the Vale of White Horse are delighted that JPPC has been successful in obtaining planning permission for a scheme for 5 new build dwellings on a site in the open countryside, in place of carrying out a conversion scheme that was previously approved.  The existing buildings which were formerly used as kennels and cattery buildings would have needed significant attention to make them as thermally efficient as a new build property.  The newly approved scheme displays a ‘new rural’ style of building employing significant areas of timber boarding and has been designed to place rooms in appropriate positions for optimal solar gain, and the angle of roof has also been selected to maximise the opportunity for solar gain.
