May 2023 – Conversion of Public House in SODC to Seven Flats

JPPC have secured planning permission for the extension and conversion of a public house in South Oxfordshire to provide seven flats.  The pub had been closed since 2019 and, with assessment from specialist consultants Thomas E Teague, it was demonstrated to South Oxfordshire District Council that it was no longer financially viable and so should be put to alternative use.  The Council agreed that the provision of seven residential flats was a suitable re-use of the building and that the design, prepared by Oxford Architects, offered the high quality of development expected to enhance the local area granting planning permission without pre-commencement conditions.
