Bremont, Henley-on-Thames
JPPC secured planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings, situated within the grounds facing onto the fields of the Black Bears Polo Club and the erection new buildings to serve as the new HQ for luxury British watchmaker Bremont, for the production of precision watches. The proposal ensures the unique manufacturing process for highly engineered chronometers can be undertaken within a dust-free and acoustically controlled environment. To meet these requirements the building form has two separate, single-span spaces to accommodate the manufacturing and office facilities with a link building nestling between. The low-slung curved roof is a highly insulated and ecological green roof.
