Naunton Downs Racing Yard
JPPC secured planning permission for the erection of a new model stable yard including administrative spaces, 100 stables, welfare and hay store building, trotting and exercise tracks and gallops. Temporary permission is granted for the siting of a mobile home for occupation by staff to provide on-site welfare within the grounds of Naunton Downs Golf Club. The proposed development will run in conjunction with the golf club sharing existing on-site facilities. The proposed new use will help to support the future viability of the Golf Club by providing a complementary income stream. The client is seeking to provide a model racing yard, incorporating the latest techniques and knowledge of animal welfare requirements to produce an exemplar facility.
